Upload recommended readings using the Course Materials Database
The Course Materials Database (CMD) allows academic staff to make copyright readings available to students online. Academic staff are encouraged to upload their recommended readings to the CMD, making these readily accessible for students to read and print.
The CMD readings are accessed via QUT Blackboard or the Library website. Subject to the Copyright Act, material that can be uploaded includes:
- book chapters
- journal articles
- conference papers
- legislation
- cases
- whole works
- images
- past exam papers*
New material can be submitted to the CMD by completing an online request form. Material that has been uploaded previously can be reactivated when necessary. Please submit new requests and reactivate material required for Semester 2 as soon as possible to ensure it is available when required.
Students surveyed have requested that the CMD be more widely used. To learn more about CMD and how to upload documents, visit:
www.library.qut.edu.au/services/teaching/cmd_for_staff.jsp
* Released past exam papers are automatically included in the CMD but individual exam papers can be removed or added upon request.
