New research technologies, new  research collaborations, so many developments at QUT!

The Making Connections series offers an opportunity for QUT researchers to learn about the work of other researchers at QUT who are using new technology in their research, forging collaborative cross disciplinary partnerships and bringing together innovative expertise to solve real world problems.

These events are jointly sponsored by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor ( Technology, Information and Learning Support) and the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Commercialisation).

QUT is at the forefront of the innovative use of technology in research and strives to ensure outcomes are relevant to the real world.   QUT is in the business of fostering development of human talent in the context of the research environment for the best impact on the community and to inform public policy.

The Making Connections seminars are held twice a year.  Speakers are invited to make a short presentation outlining their research and innovative use of research technologies and methods.
