Computation

Computation facilities and scientific programming support is available to leverage outcomes at various stages of the research process.  Programming advice and assistance with code optimisation and parallelisation is available from High Performance Computing and Research Support Services, along with a range of software development and mathematical modelling tools.  Access to a number of supercomputing facilities is also available on request.

Visualisation

Scientific data visualisation services provided by High Performance Computing include the production of computer generated data visualisations, high quality graphics output, and the production of high quality scientific animations. Effective data visualisations may be created using a range of freely available tools.

Supercomputing Facilities

Supercomputing facilities maintanined by High Performance Computing are available for use by research staff and students. QUT is also a member of the Queenslanc Cyber Infrastructure Foundation (QCIF) and has access to the National Facility located in Canberra.
