About the project
The project aims provide the higher education sector with a learning space design framework for cost effective retrofitting of existing learning spaces. It is anticipated that cost effective redevelopment, will be achieved through the definition, implementation and modelling of the integrated set of principles developed by the three institutions involved in the project.
Project deliverables will include a clear articulation of the practical choices made within budget constraints at each institution demonstrating scalability and sustainability of the principles within three quite different contexts. Analysis of stakeholder experiences and perspectives along with integrated stakeholder participation throughout the process.
The project is funded by a priority project grant from the Australian Learning and Teaching Council (ALTC). It is a joint collaboration with Edith Cowan University (ECU) and Charles Darwin University (CDU).
